Description
Following the success and feedback provided at the last GP training workshop in June of 2021and based on the ongoing input that GPs and Service Providers have shared with the Transition ED Care Team on the Sunshine Coast, the Centre for Integrative Health, PHN and the Transition ED Care team look forward to facilitating this interactive workshop which will incorporate a range of clinical scenarios and role plays. We would also like to encourage you to share this training opportunity with interested GPs.
Key Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate and refine skills to engage and provide treatment for a patient with an eating disorder
- Explore/discuss psychological treatments and the GPs role
- Identify local referral pathways and indications for use of an MBS Eating Disorder Management Plan
